Poor LC was found abandoned near Lyons Crest in Lyons, Colorado, and had sustained a severe eye injury while running in the wild. Since the owner has not come forward to claim LC, Animal Control turned over LC to Knick O'Time Horse Rescue and Rehabilitation. Our Veterinarians performed the surgery to remove her right eye, she did very well, and her recovery was uneventful.
LC had made a full recovery and has been Adopted!!
Adopt a Yard Bird!
Several varieties of barnyard birds or ducks available for adoption~ Currently we have a duck and roosters available~ occasionally we do get healthy laying hens, ducks, female geese, and other fowl. Adoption fees vary, however are reasonable and in some cases, may be waived all together.

Seeking Safe and Loving Homes for Pet and Companion Goats. Goats available for adoption all year round. Goat adoption fees generally range from $50-$75 each, and discounts are always offered when 2 or more are adopted together! Occasionally goat adoption fees will be higher or lower, depending on individual circumstances.
